Q. When is your shop next open?
A. I am opening the store in September 2024.

Q. Why don’t you just leave the shop open?
A. Because the books are print on demand, collecting together orders and then placing them to the printer all at once helps keep costs down and is a more environmentally conscious way of doing things. By closing and opening the shop, I can ensure no one’s having an unreasonable wait for the book they want.

Q. Why are the books on back order?
A. I don’t hold a stock of books ready for immediate dispatch. Instead, they are printed on demand which takes approximately 7 working days. I use the “on back-order” status to help alert purchasers that it might take a while for the book to reach them.

Q. What’s the difference between matte and gloss options?
A. The matte cover is non slippery and faintly velvety to the touch. It does tend to gather fingerprints, but might be easier to hold when reading. If you have received books from me as a patron, the books you received will be a matte cover. The gloss cover is shiny, wipe-clean and more resilient.

Q. I have a Patreon discount code. Where do I enter it?
A. Coupon codes can be applied in your basket, just below the list of books in your cart.

Q. How do I get a discount code?
A. Discount codes are offered to patrons in the $13 or higher tier on my patreon. I will send you a message there with your exclusive discount code.

Q. Do you sign books?
A. Signed copies of my books are available to patrons. In order to receive a signed copy, all that patrons need to do is put their patreon username in the comments box on their order, as well as any message they would like in their book.

Q. How much money do you make off selling these books?
A. Nothing. These books are sold at cost. The price you see in the checkout covers the cost of producing the book and associated logistics (such as Paypal fees, packaging costs etc).

Q. What is the tip?
A. Because I make no money off the books, I give customers the option to provide a small gratuity which does go to me as a way of saying thanks. This is completely optional, and is automatically omitted.

Q. Why is shipping so expensive?
A.  Because I’m based in the UK many orders will have to be shipped internationally. The shipping fees reflect the current prices at Royal Mail for shipping overseas.

Q. It says no shipping options were found for my destination. Why is this?
A. There are two possible reasons. Firstly, it could be your geographical location wasn’t entered into the shipping locations table. Secondly, it could be that the volume of your order is too heavy for international shipping (Maximum weight limit is 5kg to everywhere except Canada and Cambodia, where it’s 2Kg) Either way, please email me and I’ll try and work something out for you.

Q. Do you let us know when the packages have been dispatched?
A. Absolutely. I will send an email as soon as your order is on its way.
